This made me laugh, but it's not really a secret. This is a deceptively hard assignment, because you have to figure out some way to reveal something about a character that s/he wouldn't want anyone else to know...What you're getting at here with this statement might be a secret if it was more like: "On the outside, I look like Mandy Moore, but on the inside, I feel like Kelly Obsborne." That's not a great example, but what your statement hints at is that people who look like they should fit in, might be hiding something important, or might feel as alienated as the least popular kid in class. Secrets are about hiding things that matter...You have to scratch beneath the surface to get at what's really going on.
