What have I learned?
The biggest thing that I have learned was that creating movies and editing in general takes A LOT OF TIME AND PATIENCE; I certainly have a newfound respect for those who do it. I also learned a little bit about what makes good writing and what makes bad writing... I have even started to criticize movies and shows more harshly, I have noticed.
What would I like to learn?
I would like to learn more about the foundations of writing, and more about what makes a good and bad piece. I have a passion for writing (poetry and little things like that), so I feel like I would be able to improve a great deal between this professor and the practice in general. This an interest of mine that I have had for a while, so it'd be nice to delve into it a bit more.
Overall?
Overall, I actually LOVED this class. I originally took it to fulfill a requirement, but it soon became my favorite class. I enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the positive vibes. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable, yet I was actually having a good time. The subject matter was always interesting and I enjoyed my classmates, whom were all respectively different. Gonna miss you guys :(

Kalyn! You were part of what made the class great. I am glad you were part of the experience--you added humor, and insight, and were just an all-around good person to have around. Also: the snake!! I will forget that moment. Stay smart, stay creative, come see me if you need help with future projects. My door is always open.
